Kloss Studios is a Macintosh based facility. We can handle IBM standard formats that can be opened with program translator Mac Link. Our printer has the capability to print at a resolution of 1200 dpi. When sending either scanned or computer generated artwork be sure that the images are created at a high enough resolution.
Artwork Computer generated - send on disk, floppy or Zip Send a copy of your file (back-up) not the original Include all linked graphic files If files contain layers, specify all active and inactive layers Specify colors, PMS If you use FreeHand.eps files, be sure to send the original FreeHand file. EPS files cannot be opened for trapping or any other adjustments. Send all camera ready artwork Leave a 1/8" bleed on all borders Important graphical elements should have a 1/16" margin from edge of label or printed materials such as J-cards, CD covers, traycards and inserts. Proof your job on a laser printer and include a copy or fax with order To ensure proper registration of multi-color designs, provide a 2 pt overlay trap Programs Adobe Illustrator 8.0 or earlier Adobe Photoshop 5.0 or earlier MacroMedia FreeHand 8.0 Aldus PageMaker 5.0 QuarkXPress 3.32 or earlier version Claris MacDraw Pro |
